Armin’ s year has been rocking for sure…
Besides winning the Dutch ‘popprijs 2007′, Holland’s best export product got voted “Best dj of the World” for the second time in a row. Besides that he recently won three awards during the fourth annual Trance Awards, granting him titles like “Best radioshow” (’A State Of Trance’), “Best resident dj” (’Armada nights’) and “Best Album” (’Imagine’) with 20.000+ votes from 125 different countries.
With two smashing releases (’Going Wrong’ – March and ‘In And Out Of Love’ – August), another artist album (’Imagine’ – April) and 16.000 people going nuts @ Armin Only, which took place on the day of his album release, the sky is the limit.
It was also the first year his event was broadcasted live on Dutch tv (’BNN’) and covered by Dutch radio (3FM / SlamFM).
Last September he released his fifth album in the ‘A State Of Trance’ compilation series.
His upcoming single ‘Stay With Me’ features Dutch vocalist Jacqueline Govaerts from the band ‘Krezip’. It’s the second release from the album and the already announced follow up of ‘In And Out Of Love’ was supposed to be ‘Unforgivable’ but actually got pulled back for this one!
